Lucky for me and a curse....been going 24/7 and still trying to find spots to "squeeze" people in the last minute. I am really looking forward to going to Connections next week so it forces me off the truck and gives my family crew (that are staying behind) a chance to organize and clean the shop and trucks for a few days.
Listening to some BDCC lie about how busy he is and how much money he's making when deep inside you know he can barely pay his bills and his equipment is held together by duct tape.
It's all good. Even the unending anxiety about the next week or month of income. Living in Motown I learned early on there is no job security working for someone else. I've been fired before by a-hole bosses, but not in the last 34 years. You just take the good with the bad. And I like middle aged women better than young girls.
