Looks good but I might just switch to something smaller for the riser. I like a wand on steps. It flushes much better on the tread that typical stair tools.

Does that come in a 2 inch barrel for men too? ☺

No shoulder issues

You're taller than most. The wand to you is like a stair tool to the rest of us mere mortals. Constantly raising your shoulder too high will put a lot of strain on your rotator cuff. Lots of carpet cleaners out there with shoulder injuries, me included.

I am sure this is a great wand, so if you're committed to using only one tool it would do.
However, stairs need a dedicated tool.

If, as it happens, one is particularly interested in acrobatics, try this first.
And yes if you can do it. This wand is absolutely the right stair tool for you-

really you never have used stair tools but always your main wand? as long as I hold it right it doesnt bother me too much but some stair cases it just doesnt work

The boys admit they sometimes revert to an AW29 to trim in restaurant and cramped jobs. I'm going to get what makes them happy and more productive.

I can do steps with a 14" wand, but Jon is kind of hooked on the stairtool. Gotta make him happy.

I use a glided aw 29 in a lot of condos. I love my mach 12 but sometimes it's a little too long in cramped quarters.

I use 300 psi with a 6" stair tool that generates more heat and vacuum than Mr. Cumbersome (for stairs. I am sure its a great wand for carpet). It also allows me to clean the nose of the stair a lot better which is the area that needs it the most.

Yes I am on my knees......but that's due to my religious nature (hallelujah)..............ask Marty.

A carpet wand is too cumbersome for stairs and I clean a whole lot more stairs than you do. I will use it every once in a while when there's just a few stairs and I don't want to go to the van and get the proper tool.

Granted, if one is committed to cleaning stairs with the wrong tool, this particular carpet wand could be the best.
