Good luck getting those to lay flat after hanging on that clothesline.
4” minimum perforated.... 6” is even better.
And for the big ones... 8”....
Well, straight hang is best, or flat dry.....
I’ve learned the hard way....

you f'n people...

those two rugs dont weight anything near what the door does

and if the backs had gotten soaked in the cleaning maybe the rope would be an issue...

If the backs weren't soaked, you wasted your time coming up with that "genius" idea of hanging them up on the rope

Why do you come here for affirmation Mike?

"You f'n people..." has got to be your most oft repeated phrase here.

One thing I got to say about MB:

Despite what your detractors say, your ass remains unkissed in this place.

Or maybe the customer came up with the idea....

Biggest bunch of ASSumers I've ever met...
Sure, the customer is always right. Remember that when they call you to complain about the ridge in the middle of the rug.

Not a good idea to attach rope to the garage door frames

Here is my hanging rack. 1” galvanized pipe with 2” PVC sleeve over it, attached to the overhead door track.

Air handler attached to the ceiling for quicker drying.
