I am a Bane Clene owner who has been using their equipment/cleaning products for over 20 years. I am wondering what people use as there basic cleaning detergent? I am specifically looking for what to replace PCA 5. Bane system is set at 150 psi and I heat water to 150-175. I have tried *********** from TMF and have Pro powder 2000 from pris choice to try. I have 3 years of PCA stocked up, but want to take my time and find a good replacement.

Thank you

Anything will match PCS5. Don't get hung up on that. Now you're #free😉 Do you utilize a hydra force or some type of sprayer? RUN an acid through it like a gas truckmount after any emulsifier🤷🏼‍♂️

Bryan,
What are going do about parts?

"Boosters "I have no replacement for that.
We will be getting a list of all the suppliers for parts for equipment, cleaning tools, ect... Very frustrating though because they had exceptional service and any questions could be answered by a phone call.

I think they were a Excellent company back in the day.

I loved their monthly newsletter.

Come to think about,

I bought Bill Bane's book about him and his company.

I think i read it twice!

For sure. Sad really. I think it is a waste to see them go away. I feel when Bill Bane passed it was never the same. Probably should have sold 10 years ago.

There's a nice looking unit on marketplace for $1900. The newer version, Looks like a Paramount. It's a good buy if you wanted one. It's close to me.

That i owned a bane .
We pretty much ran it with all their chemicals and their method.
But all my other Vans we use other chemicals.

I am a 1 man business. I am 49, been cleaning carpet since I was 21. Have used Bane equipment since 2005. I have 3 base units that are in good to excellent shape. I have 2 sets of Maximount tanks as well. I am good equipment wise. I am just trying to get ahead of the chemical search. I have had excellent success with PCA 5, so have never ventured out there. So, I feel like a rookie in a way. I had never even heard of Chemspec until yesterday.

Frank, what about Chemspec Formula 90? Have you used that? I see it is a powdered and has no fillers, just active ingredient. I was told fillers can be hard on the brass in my equipment.
Yes, a lot of 90.Good stuff!
One clean is a lot like PCA 5
I think that is true about Bane Fresh Water tanks?
I would not use 90. in them!!!

That's why I suggested you use a hydraforce or some other type sprayer with all the other hundreds of emulsifiers out there, and rinse with an acid. 21st century With 3 year supply of PCA5, that would give you a lot of time to test others to determine what you like🤷🏼‍♂️

So is mine. I use a pto so water to water heat exchangers only get to around 180° the salsa afterburner on frankinstien will bring an additional 15°. And will hold 180 cleaning. But ive only had Frankenstein for 3 years now prior to that my machine (spare machine now) would get to 170 - 175° and hold about 160° cleaning ive been using those chems for at least 25 years
The other thing I appreciated is that they're idiot proof, when i had employees i didn't have to worry whether or not they were using the right chemicals on wool because they are both wool safe

my first TM was a Bane. Suggest a hydroforce with just about any prespray and rinse with just soft water. I do that with my current TM (HM Titan 575) If you want to really boost performance use a CRB.

But a lot of us are in the same boat. We lost Jon Don. It was nice to have a supplier that had just about everything. Now we have to go to two or three different suppliers for what we need.

Oh, and TMF products - they have too much filler in them. Check the labels.
